Case No.542 of 2025 dated 09.06.2025 under Sections 14A(b)/14C of the Foreginers Act. And In the matter of:

Majahar Ali @ Mojahar Ali ... petitioner Mr. Amitabha Karmakar Mr. Arup Kumar Bhowmick ... for the petitioner Mr. Debabrata Chatterjee Mr. Rahul Ganguly ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not a Bangladeshi National, but an Indian National. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and the report filed today, which is taken on record, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that although the petitioner is an Indian National, he had given shelter to Bangladeshi Nationals. The petitioner has altered his identity documents to facilitate the preparation of false ration cards and identity documents for the Bangladeshi Nationals. Considering the serious nature of allegations and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Personal appearance of the investigating officer is noted and is dispensed with.
