Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Puspita Saha ......for the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than five months and even after the charge-sheet has been submitted, till date the charges have not been framed.
Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and produce the Case Diary.
I have taken into account the materials appearing in the Case Diary, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case to release the petitioner on bail.
As such the prayer for bail of the petitioner being CRM (M) 2258 of 2025 is dismissed.
Petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the examination of victim under Section 35 of the POCSO Act is over.
Case Diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.
All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
