It is submitted by Mr. Musharraf Alam Sk., learned Advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed the instant Criminal Revision for quashing of the FIR dated 14th June, 2010 in connection with Gangarampur P.S Case No. 199 of 2010 under Section 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 read with Section 414 of the IPC.

Gangarampur P.S. Case No. 199 of 2010 was registered against the petitioners and other co-accused persons on the allegation that about 89 nos. of alive tortoise and 32 nos. of dead tortoise were recovered from their possession. The matter was lastly listed on 5th May, 2011. There is no order of stay of further proceeding of Gangarampur P.S. Case No. 199 of 2010. During this long 12 years the purpose of the instant revisional application becomes infructuous.

Accordingly, the instant criminal revision is dismissed on merit.
