Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 75 days and Rajat Roy, the son of the petitioner against whom there are allegations of abatement has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench in CRM (DB) 4367 of 2024.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the witnesses.

I have considered the materials on record and having taken into considerations the fact that charge-sheet has already been submitted, as also the period of detention of the present petitioner with reference to her complicity in connection with the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the petitioners namely, Durga Roy shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagar. If on bail, the petitioner shall make herself available on each and every date fixed before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District Nadia without prior permission of the learned Trial Court or the learned Court in seisin of the instant case.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2230 of 2025 is allowed. Case Diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
