Petitioner contends he has been falsely implicated. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows petitioner used to make indecent proposals to her. On the fateful day she was assaulted resulting in serious injury on her head by a sharp cutting weapon.

In view of the incriminating materials on record, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail. 5.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail, is thus, rejected.
