1. Heard the learned Advocates appearing for both the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is one of the principal accused. He along with Suranjan Mahaldar had assaulted the victim with spade and hansua. As a result the victim died. Coaccused who have been enlarged on bail stand on a different footing from the petitioner. In view of the primary role of the petitioner in the crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to him at this stage.
