1. Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for more than seven years.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, the last witness of the prosecution is being examined. On the last date, defence took adjournment to cross-examine the last witness of the prosecution.

4. Petitioner stands implicated in murder. Trial is at the fag end with the last prosecution witness being in the witness box.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that, the trial is at the fag end, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
