The present revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Maintenance Case No.173 of 2015 under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Sealdah. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the maintenance proceeding is pending for a period of nine years.

It has been pointed out that the next date is fixed before the learned trial court in the month of February, 2024. Learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Sealdah is directed to fix at least one date in a fortnight so far as the Maintenance Case No.173 of 2015 is concerned so that the trial of the case is concluded and the final verdict is pronounced on or before 30th September, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4088 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently

disposed of.
