The petitioner has been already granted bail by the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar in connection with Lake Town Police Station Case No. 284 of 2024 dated August 23, 2024, under Sections 420/406/120B of the Indian Penal Code on September 24, 2024.

It appears that the petitioner has been rearrested on the same date by the Investigating Agency on the similar allegation in connection with the Lake Town Police Station Case No.301 of 2024 dated 05.09.2024 under Sections 420/406/120B/506 of Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since September 24, 2024. Having regard to the aforesaid, the petitioner,

Goutam Kumar Sahoo, should be enlarged on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once a week until further order.

With the above observations, WPA 25507 of 2024 stands disposed of.
