Mr. Rafiqul Islam, learned counsel appears for the petitioner.

None appears for the respondents, despite notice.

Considering the prayer in the writ petition, the respondent no.2, the jurisdictional Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of Appeal No. 14 of 2024 after granting an opportunity of hearing to the parties thereto and by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law.

The entire exercise shall be carried out by the respondent no.2 positively within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner shall communicate a copy of this order to the parties to the said Appeal No. 14

of 2024 and shall produce the evidence of service of communication of this order before the respondent no.2 when the hearing shall commence.

In any event, the Appellate Authority shall also serve a notice upon the parties to the appeal in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the writ petition. The Appellate Authority shall dispose of the appeal on its own merit by applying its independent mind in accordance with law and without being influenced by observation made by this Court.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition, WPA 25670 of 2024 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
