The grievance of the petitioner is directed against illegal construction and the refusal of the respondent authorities to demolish the same.

On behalf of the State authorities, a Report dated 5 December, 2024 has been filed by the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. It appears from the said Report that proceedings have been initiated insofar as the alleged grievance of the petitioner is concerned and notices as well as spot enquiries have been conducted by the concerned State officials .

In view of the above action, taken by the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer nothing survives in this writ petition. WPA 25574 of 2024 stands disposed of by directing the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer to

expeditiously bring the above proceeding to a logical end and deal with the allegations of the petitioner. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be decided by the State authorities in accordance with law and are to be completed within two weeks from the date of communication of this order.
