In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The proceedings being GR case no. 642 of 2024 pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Paschim Medinipur be quashed. CRR 4434 of 2024 and the application, being CRAN 1 of 2024 are disposed of.
