The District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur shall pass necessary orders, including grant of the legal heir certificate in favour of the petitioner, if the enquiry reveals that the petitioner is the second wife of the deceased and the first wife had already died. 2.

The decision will be taken within a month from the date of communication of this order, as per the procedure. If the legal heir certificate cannot be granted, a reasoned order will be passed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 4.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
