Nos.6-8 Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record. Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the de facto complainant of Amherst Street Police Station Case No.256 dated 23.11.20 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of DP Act. In spite of filing FIR, no stridhan article was seized by the investigating agency. Learned advocate for the private respondents submits as follows. The allegations made in the writ petition are denied. No stridhan articles are left with the in-laws. The case is now at the stage of the trial. Learned advocate for the State relies on the report and submits as follows. After conducting a thorough investigation, a charge-sheet was submitted on 11.06.2021. Raids had been held to recover stridhan articles as would be evident from the seizure list

appended to the writ petition and the petitioner is a signatory to the seizure list.

It is quite surprising that the petitioner would make such a prayer before this Court primarily for recovery of stridhan articles not only after completion of investigation but at a stage when the trial is going on.

It is evident that raids were held. Yet, the stridhan as claimed by the petitioner could not be recovered. Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed without any order as to costs.

Urgent certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of such requisite formalities.
