Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the de facto complaint in the case. He received threats after getting bail. Despite approaching the police, no steps were taken. During the pendency of this writ petition the prime grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and a proceeding was initiated by the State under Section 195A of the Penal Code.

Learned advocate for the State relies on the report and submits as follows. After a complaint was lodged by the petitioner, a case under Section 195A of the Penal Code has been registered. The same is being investigated. Since the prime grievance of the petitioner about police inaction has been redressed by registering an FIR, no further order need be passed in this regard.

Let the investigation be carried on expeditiously and in accordance with law.

The police shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale, ensure that no breach of peace takes place and see that no order of a civil court is violated.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
