1. Affidavit-of-service filed in court today be kept on record.

2. Despite service, none appears for the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the bank filed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act) has been kept pending beyond the statutory period.

4. Hence, keeping in view the above circumstances, WPA No. 24507 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, the District Magistrate, Hooghly, to dispose of the petitioner's application filed under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act pending against the private respondents as

expeditiously as possible, positively within December 8, 2023.

5. There will be no order as to costs.

6. The parties shall act on the server copy of this order for the purpose of compliance with the same.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
