Petitioners are aggrieved that their complaint which was addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Charu Market Police Station on 1st October, 2024 was not acted upon.

Report submitted by the State reflects that Charu Market Police Station Case No.117 dated 05.10.2024 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos.4 to 6 is present and refutes the contentions and/or accusations made against them.

In view of the criminal case having been registered by the concerned police station, the

grievance of the petitioners has been addressed. Since the investigation has commenced, the police authorities will take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 25506 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
