The present revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of D.V.Act Case No.38 of 2017 under Sections 17/18/19/20/22 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Sealdah.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the D.V Act proceeding is pending for a period of six years.

It has been pointed out that the next date is fixed before the learned trial court in the month of February, 2024. Learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Sealdah is directed to fix at least one date in a fortnight so far as the D.V. Act Case No.38 of 2017 is concerned, so that the trial of the case is concluded and the final verdict is pronounced on or before 30th September, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4096 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
