1. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Station Manager, Mogholtuli Customer Care Centre, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, for grant of temporary connection on and from October 7 to October 16, 2024.

2. The petitioner's contention is that a temporary connection is being prayed only to run an eatery and not for any other purpose.

3. Considering the livelihood of the petitioner and the business prospect during the festive season, the Station Manager, Mogholtuli Customer Care Centre is directed to grant temporary connection to the petitioner's eatery from October 9 to October 16, 2024, on payment of charges by the petitioner. This connection shall not create any right or equity in favour of the petitioner in the pending suit.

4. Mr. Koley, learned advocate is requested to appear in the matter on account of non-

appearance of the learned advocate for the WBSEDCL. In view of the urgency involved, Mr. Koley's appearance be regularized. The authority shall act on the basis of the communication to be forwarded by the learned advocates, including Mr. Koley.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

6. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
