1. Petitioner stands implicated in murder.

2. Petitioner is in custody for two years and five months.

3. Out of twenty five prosecution witnesses six were examined.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence the involvement of the petitioner therein and the fact that, trial is in progress coupled with period of custody of the petitioner, we are not inclined to arrive at a finding that there is any delay at the trial.

5. In such circumstances, we are no inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. C.R.M (DB) 3520 of 2024, is accordingly rejected. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
