For the Petitioner This is an application wherein the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the MAT Suit No. 41 of 2021 (CIS Matrimonial Suit No. 329 of 2021) presently pending before the learned Judge, Family Court, Assansol, Paschim Bardhaman.

It has been contended by the petitioner that the petitioner filed the above-mentioned suit seeking dissolution of marriage in the year 2021 and the opposite party/husband appeared in the said suit on 6th February, 2023. There after the matter has got adjourned on various occasions and the trial of the said suit has not yet been commenced. Accordingly, he prayed for necessary direction. Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is innocuous and if any order is passed in terms of the said prayer made in the petition, opposite party/husband will have no cause to prejudice, service of notice and copy of the application upon the opposite parties are dispensed with. Having considered the submissions made on behalf

of the petitioner and the facts and circumstances of the case and that the prayer made in the application is justified and required to be allowed for the ends of justice, the present application, being C.O. 3904 of 2024 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid Mat. Suit No. 41 of 2021 without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties and to make his best effort to conclude the entire proceeding preferably within a period of six months from the date of the next date of hearing. C.O. 3904 of 2024 thus stands disposed of.
