1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that some of the co-accused were granted anticipatory bail and some others were denied to benefit of anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that it was the petitioner who gave the lethal blow in question. From the injury report, it appears that the victim received injury with an iron rod on a vital part of the body like head. Repair had to be done.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary and the alleged role ascribed to the present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
