A report is filed by the CESC Limited as per previous direction.

It is indicated in the report that due access was given to the meters. An alternative location has also been identified by the CESC Limited in the presence of learned counsel for the petitioners and the private respondent.

Both parties agree to the said alternative location for shifting of the meters.

However, the shifting has to be done by making an online application and upon compliance of formalities by the petitioners.

Accordingly, WPA 24542 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to apply online in proper format for shifting of the meters.

Upon compliance of all formalities by the petitioners in that regard, the existing meters shall be shifted to the alternative location as suggested in its report by the CESC Limited.

The report be made a part of the records.

8.

Since no affidavits were directed, it is deemed that none of the allegations made in the writ petition are admitted by any of the respondents.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10. Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
