The petitioner participated in the 3rd Regional Level Selection Test, 2016 for the post of 'Group- D Staff' in Government-Aided School under Reserved Category for physically handicapped (Hearing Impaired) candidates.

The petitioner, not being selected for the post, sought information from the Commission about the result of the said selection process. The Commission responding to such enquiry, informed the petitioner that he had secured 34 marks and there is no vacancy to accommodate physically handicapped (Hearing Impaired) candidates.

The petitioner is alleging that the vacancy under the said category is still existing but there is nothing on record to substantiate the said allegation, moreover, even the writ petition lacks averment of such allegation. The information

regarding result of the said selection process was supplied to the petitioner in the year 2018 but no action impeaching the said information was taken by the petitioner within a reasonable time. The writ petition being W.P.A. 25215 of 2022 is therefore dismissed on merit as well as on the ground of delay.

There shall be no order as to costs.
