None appears for the respondents despite service. Mr. Sirsanya Bandhopadhyay, advocate, who usually appears for the State and is present in Court today, is requested to represent the State in this matter. His appointment be regularised by the appropriate authority.

The petitioner is directed to serve copy of the writ petition along with annexure thereto upon Mr.

Bandhopadhyay, advocate in course of this day. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the complaint lodged by him before the police authority has not been acted upon. In such event the petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175 of the BNSS for redressal of his grievance. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
