1. The petitioner, by way of this writ petition seeks for a direction upon the respondents to consider the representation, wherein he has alleged that public funds have been swindled.

2. According to the petitioner, certain sums of money were allotted by the Gram Panchayat for certain developmental works, which were to be carried out by the private respondent nos. 11 to 16. However, the same has not been carried out. However, on paper, it has been shown as if the works have been carried out.

3. Since the writ petition is being disposed of without calling for affidavits, the merits of the allegations are not gone into and it is suffice to direct the 5th respondent to consider the representation dated December 15, 2023 and if necessary, an inspection be

conducted in the presence of all concerned after notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents and a decision be taken in accordance with law.

4. This direction be complied with within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
