It is submitted by both the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party who is the wife of the de facto complainant, since deceased, does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 4111 of 2023 along with CRAN 2 of 2024 are allowed.

The proceeding being ACGR Case No. 2156 of 2013 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24 Parganas be quashed. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
