Mr. Das, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that his application before the rent controller is still pending.

In view of the issues relating to possession and admitted position that the padlock has been affixed by the landlord, I direct that, if the petitioner is able to satisfy the rent controller, in that case, the police authorities will extend aid and assistance to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 25705 of 2024 is disposed of.
