We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the minor implicates the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. Delay in the matter was due to abscondene of the petitioner.

Under such circumstances we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
