The petitioners sought certain information from the SPIO which being refused, the petitioners moved in first appeal.

The First Appellate Authority directed the SPIO to dispose of the petitioners' application within a limited time, that is, November 11, 2022 but those applications are still pending.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, WPA 24571 of 2023 is disposed of by directing respondent no.5, the concerned SPIO, to comply with the order of the appellate authority and dispose of the applications of the petitioners under the Right to Information Act positively within December 15, 2023, if not already disposed of.

The parties shall act on the server copy of this order, without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
