Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to disburse the family pension to the petitioner being the widowed daughter of the concerned employee.

The petitioner contends that her father, late Surendra Nath Mahata was an Assistant Teacher of Dalkati Primary School, Post Office Nikashi, District Paschim Medinipur. The petitioner's father died-in-harness on 5th July, 1974. The mother of the petitioner, namely, Kaushalya Mahata was granted family pension on 2nd January, 2013. The mother of the petitioner died on 11th July, 2024. The husband of the petitioner died on 29th August, 2018. The petitioner is the widowed daughter of the concerned employee. On 16th September, 2025, the petitioner made a representation

before the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Jhargram seeking family pension. However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition. 4.

Mr. Dilip Kumar Sadhu, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the matter may be relegated to the appropriate authorities to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16th September, 2025 (annexure P-5).

Mr. Aswini Kumar Bera, learned Advocate for the Staterespondents concedes to such submission. 6.

In view of such submissions, respondent no.4, District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Jhargram, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16th September, 2025 and to dispose of the same in accordance with law upon giving notice to the petitioner by passing a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 7.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.4, District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Jhargram, for necessary compliance.

With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 25505 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

11.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

12.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 13.

There shall be no order as to costs.

14.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

15.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
