Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits Bpg.

Allowed that the petitioner has been arrested on the basis of statement of co accused, from whom 300 bottles of phensegrip were recovered. Learned advocate submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and he may be released on bail on any stringent conditions. On the other hand, Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is another case against the present petitioner.

Be that as it may, since the petitioner is in custody for 114 days and till date there has been no recovery from the possession of the present petitioner, I am of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner namely, Mridul Ghosh shall be released on

bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court, (under NDPS Act), Dakshin Dinajpur, Balurghat. If on bail, the petitioner shall meet with the investigating officer of the case once in a week till submission of the charge-sheet. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1411 of 2025 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
