1. The petitioners allege non-payment of the billed amount despite issuance of a successful completion certificate by the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation & Waterways Directorate, Mayurakshi North Canals Division.
2. A representation was filed before the respondent authorities but the same is yet to be considered.
3. As it appears that there is a successful completion certificate in favour of the petitioners, accordingly, the respondent authorities ought to disburse the billed amount to the petitioners without any further delay.
4. The respondent no. 3 is directed to take necessary steps to make payment of the admitted amount on consideration of the legal representation filed on behalf of the petitioners at the earliest but positively within a period of
twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5. If any amount is disputed, the reason therefor shall be intimated to the petitioners forthwith.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
