Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Victim stated petitioner had tried to strangulate her with a saree. Injury report notes that injuries were caused due to knife or wooden stick. This improbalises the allegation against the petitioner. 4.
Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner.
5.
Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Anjura Bibi @ Anjura be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 6 th of November 2024 06:02:07 PM
