Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that from the possession of the petitioner about 12 kgs of ganja were recovered, as such, the petitioner is entitled to be released on bail as he is in custody since 15th October, 2025.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the subject matter of the case involves more than 32 kgs of ganja being recovered.

Having regard to the fact that commercial quantity of contraband is involved in the present case, I am of the opinion that the petitioner has failed to overcome the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 1414 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly

downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
