This is a contempt proceeding arising from an order dated September 25, 2024.

Today Mr. Srijan Nayak, learned counsel appears for contemnor No. 2. Learned counsel submits that, even if there had been any violation of the direction of this Court it was not intentional but in any event the alleged contemnor No. 2 prays for unconditional apology before this Court and he has the highest regard towards the majesty of this Court and towards the direction passed by this Court. Mr. Ritzu Ghosal, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners has also confirmed that,

no cause for contempt now survives against the alleged contemnor No. 2.

Mr. Ghosal, learned senior counsel further submits that, in so far as alleged contemnor No. 1 is concerned though he is not represented today in Court but he is in the process of carrying out the direction of this Court, therefore, for the time being this contempt proceeding may be dropped as against both the alleged contemnors.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the alleged contemnor No. 2 and in view of the fair stand taken by the learned senior counsel Mr. Ghosal on behalf of the petitioners, nothing further survives in this contempt proceeding.

Accordingly, this proceeding being CPAN 1660 of 2024 stands dropped and closed.

The application being CPAN 1660 of 2024 stands disposed of accordingly.
