JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S. SIVAGNANAM, C.J.)

1. The unsuccessful writ petitioner is the appellant herein.

2. The prayer sought for in the writ petition was to hold Durga Puja festival in a playground of the respondent no.7/school.

3. Admittedly, the Puja is already over. Therefore, nothing survives in this appeal and accordingly, the same stands dismissed as infructuous.

4. However, this order will not prevent appellant from pursuing other remedies, if they wish to do so during the subsequent Puja festival.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities. (T.S. SIVAGNANAM) CHIEF JUSTICE I agree.
