Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved that he was declared unfit for discharge of duties as RPF Constable with the CLW/Chittaranjan. He suffered an injury in course of his duties by a communication dated 22.03.2022 issued by the Railway Hospital, Eastern Railway. He was deemed to entitled to Alternative Employment on Medical Ground (AEMG) by the D.M.C. Prior thereto on 15.03.2022 he was asked to join his duties and considered fit. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is unable to discharge his duties due to the injured finger as he cannot operate weapons. He has submitted representations of grant AEMG.

In those circumstances, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's representation and pass a reasoned order thereon within a period of one month

from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The petitioner may also be considered for non weapon carrying duties, if any, as an alternative to AEMG in accordance with the applicable Rules.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
