The learned advocate representing the alleged contemnor submitted to have filed an affidavit which inter alia stated in paragraph 6 as follows:

"That I have been further informed that FCI would take around three (03) months' time to comply with the said judgment dated 16.05.2025, in order to observe all formalities involved in issuing a fresh order over and above the order dated 04.07.2017 passed by the Reviewing Authority/Board of Directors, whereby the Review Petition of the Applicant/Writ Petitioner was rejected, whereas, in the said Judgment dated 16.05.2025, direction has been given to the Appellate Authority, which is an authority below the Reviewing Authority, and as such, at least three months' time may kindly be granted by this Hon'ble Court".

Heard the submission of the learned advocates representing the respective parties as well as perused the affidavit as aforesaid.

The Food Corporation of India is to comply the judgment dated 16th May, 2025 passed by this Court which was further affirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench on 9th January, 2026 within two months.

The contempt application being CPAN 1755 of 2025 is disposed of.
