Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury ..for the petitioner Mr. Sunit Kumar Roy ..for the Commission Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the transfer application dated 7th April, 2022 was made by the petitioner being Group-D staff of Government aided school. It is also submitted that the said transfer application was forwarded by the concerned District Inspector of Schools to the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission on 13th June, but, no decision has been taken by the Commission. The petitioner prays for direction upon the Commission to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner.

The Commission is represented by the learned advocate, who submits due to suspension of Utsashree Portal decision could not be taken but in the event Court passes direction upon the Commission steps shall be

taken on the said transfer application of the petitioner. Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being the respondent no.3 to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner by fortnight from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by the respondent no.3 shall be communicated to the petitioner by one week thereafter. It is made clear that the transfer application of the petitioner shall not be rejected on the ground of suspension of Utsashree Portal.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J. )
