On prayer of the petitioners, liberty is granted to correct the cause title of the writ petition. The order impugned passed under the West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1962 is appellable under Section 7 of the Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has instructions to withdraw the writ petition and take necessary steps for redressal of their grievance before the appropriate forum.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 25318 of 2022 is dismissed for non-prosecution. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievance.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
