1. The petitioner herein by way of the writ application filed in 2023, has prayed for expeditious disposal of the certificate proceedings being Case No.170(M)/2021-22, (arising out of Gratuity Case No.G-52/18), pending before the Certificate Officer, Serampore, Hooghly.

2. It appears that the certificate proceeding is pending since the year 2021-22, arising out of a Gratuity Case of 2018. It is unfortunate that the Gratuity Case pending execution for the last 7 years.

3. Considering the relief prayed for service is dispensed with.

4. The writ application is disposed of with the direction, that the respondent no.3, the Certificate Officer, Serampore, Hooghly, shall make all endeavour to dispose of the certificate proceedings being Case No.170(M)/2021-22, (arising out of Gratuity Case No.G-52/18), expeditiously preferably within 3 months from the date of this order.

5. The writ application stands disposed of.

6. Applications, if any, connected thereto stands disposed of consequently.

7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
