...For the State Heard learned counsels for the parties and perused the case diary.

It appears from the complaint that the petitioners and their father had a grudge with the victim. Allegedly, in a pre-planned manner they came to a place where the victim was sitting and started assaulting the victim. The principal blow, however, was given by the father who is in custody. The injury report shows extensive lacerated facial injury which has been termed as 'grievous injury'.

An independent witness stated that all the petitioners assaulted the victim and after receiving the main blow, part of the victim's ear allegedly fell off and the victim's jaw got cut open.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
