Mr. Bapin Baidya Ms. Juin Dutta Chakraborty ...for the petitioner Mr. Jayanta Samanta, Ms. Supriya Majumder ....for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his neighbours being the private respondents are committing theft in respect of the fish of his water body. Petitioner also complains that they have been manhandled and assaulted at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned Advocate for the State submits a report which reflects that Kultali PS Case No. 832 of 2024 dated 06.11.2024 has been registered under the relevant provisions of law.

In view of the police authority having registered the case, the grievance of the petitioner

presently has been addressed. As the investigation has commenced the same should be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Report submitted in Court be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations WPA 25640 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
