Petitioner is a member of the Armed Forces. Her husband suspected her involvement with another colleague.

Subsequently, he committed suicide. She has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses support the petitioner's case that her husband committed suicide. She was not present at the spot. 5.

In view of the aforesaid facts, we are of the opinion petitioner has made out a case for grant of anticipatory bail. 6.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Manashi Biswas be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 6 th of November 2024 06:02:07 PM

subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. She shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
