Petitioner is in custody for about 160 days and it has Bpg.

Dismissed been submitted by Mr. Mukherjee, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner that the investigation has already been concluded, as such, on any stringent conditions, the petitioner may be released on bail.

On the other hand, Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the State has drawn the attention of the Court to the statement of some of the witnesses.

I find that the locus of all accused persons are similar and the genesis of the case related to a land which was used for cultivation.

Be that as it may, the case is yet to be committed to the court of sessions. At this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is

rejected. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the stage of consideration of charges is over.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2265 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
