None appears for the petitioners.

The writ petition was preferred in the year 2023.

Records reflect that the writ petition appeared on several occasions i.e. 08.01.2024, 18.01.2024 and 27.11.2024. On 27.11.2024 none represented the petitioners.

State submitted a compliance report.

Today, as none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Amrita Panja Moulick, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

The writ petition was preferred being aggrieved in respect of the petitioners' being disturbed in enjoyment of their property particularly with regard to free egress and ingress which was obstructed by the private respondents. The prayer of the petitioners

in fact has been in respect of the contentions made above.

Having considered that the primary discord between the parties relate to a civil dispute. The police authorities particularly the respondent no.2, being the Officer-in-Charge of Kalighat Police Station would see that the petitioners if are legally having a right, under those circumstances, the free access should not be deterred or obstructed. The police authorities would also keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 24661 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
