None appears for the private respondents despite service.

The petitioner alleges that she has been restrained by the private respondents from utilizing the Sajal Dhara Prakalpa and taking water connection at her residence. The private respondents have also threatened and assaulted her for which she lodged a complaint before the police authority but to no effect.

It appears from the report submitted by the State that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, FIR has been registered and investigation is in progress. The Investigating Officer is directed to conduct the investigation in a fair, unbiased and impartial manner and take the same to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in view of the strained relationship between the parties who are relatives and shall ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
