By an order dated 13th June 2024, a direction was passed upon the authority to take efforts in making an alternative arrangement so that an application for transfer filed by the petitioner is taken up for consideration.

Today, the alleged contemnors filed the submissions in written form indicating that the temporary arrangements have been made to ensure the uninterrupted teaching to the students and the Commissioner of School Education has also taken such decision and, therefore, there is no fetter on the part of the authorities to consider the application for transfer filed by the petitioner/applicant.

We have seen the tenet of the order where the concern was shown over the strict compliance of the notification dated 3rd June 2022 and the disposal of the application for transfer within the specified time. It appears that the temporary arrangements have already been done and, therefore, we expect that the authorities would take a decision on the application for transfer. Since the delay is caused because of the efforts having invested on finding the alternative arrangement, we, therefore, extend the time for disposal of the transfer application by two weeks from date in accordance with

law.

Since we find that there is no willful and deliberate violation of the order, we, thus, dismiss the instant contempt application.
