The accused/petitioner has filed the instant revision praying for a direction upon the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of GR Case No. 306/2020 arising out of Baruipur Police Station Case No. 141/2020 dated 15th January, 2020 under Sections 427/379 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 4D of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act presently pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Baruipur.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that though charge-sheet was submitted in the year 2020 the petitioner was supplied with the copy under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure only in the year 2022. Charge has not yet been framed. The petitioner wants speedy disposal of the case.

Having heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner the instant revision is disposed of directing the Trial Court to frame charge against the accused within one month from the date of communication of the order and to examine the charge-sheeted witnesses within four months thereafter. After completion of witness action the learned Trial Judge shall come to logical conclusion of the case within one month thereafter.

With the above order, the instant revision is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to act on the server copy of the order.
